The only requirement would be to re-locate the stock. We have access to transport hauliers who can move the goods. Prior to any movement of goods we are prepared to train the incoming purchaser in all aspects of the day to day management. All operations relating to the administration are cloud based and lodged with online portals. All that is required is a minimum area of approx 1000sq.m for the stock. Basically all that is required other than the stock is a laptop and printer. |

. GENERAL OPERATIONS .
Day to day management of an extremely busy online retail operation, supplying to online marketplaces.
The business imports, and packages stock in bulk and delivers via courier to both online marketplaces and direct to customers. The administrative side of the business is all cloud and online portal based. Training will be given. An easy business to step
into. Once trained, it is simple to train employees to package the stock and handle admin issues. Own website not required. Delivery vehicle not required. The only requirement is storage area to accommodate the stock for Pick & Pack, or alternatively we have contacts in the Industry for order fulfillment, leaving only the administrative side of the business to handle. In general, staff would generate a shipping order to consolidate all the previous days sales and pack those for delivery
creating AWB's and delivery labels. Couriers then collect and dispatch.
Further details of the business model and operations will only be discussed with potential buyers who have satisfied proof of funding requirements and have signed the non-disclosure agreement.
. PREMISES .
We are operating from our own premises. The property is registered to our limited company, as is the business. If a purchaser is within our locale, and wishes to buy the property and manage the business from here, then we are happy to go that route, as we also have the property on the market for sale.
However this is not mandatory, and the asking price does not include the property.
The advantage of taking over the property as well, is that you can operate everything from the same base, which is much more cost effective than leasing external premises. The property has solar fitted which alleviates the load shedding issue,
enabling us to manage the business at all times.
Without utilising the property the stock can be moved anywhere within South Africa and set up easily.
. ASSET STRUCTURING .
Should a purchaser wish to take advantage of the property as well as the business, then the asking price for the property would be in the region of R2.65 million. The living accommodation is via an external staircase above the warehousing
underneath. Additionally as stated previously the property is solar powered with a 10.2kw system which covers all the electrical needs required and has its own borehole for water supply. The property is extremely secure with high walls and
electric fencing.
. STOCK VALUATION .
We import 20 ft containers of stock every 6-8 weeks from our most reliable and well established reputable suppliers in the UK. Due to varied stock movements throughout the year, dependent on season, our stocks vary accordingly. Our average
stock holding at cost would be in the region of R1.5 million plus. Our lines are extremely fast moving, which is why a stock take would be required subsequent to a sale being concluded.
. STAFFING .
If the purchaser is local, then we have two excellent ladies working for us who know all the stock and packaging procedures. It is not difficult to train staff on the administrative side provided they are computer literate and understand Excel.
. NEW OWNER'S SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT .
No qualifications are required, but computer literacy is a must. All other administrative issues and information required will be forthcoming and handed over to the incoming owner.
. MARKET and CUSTOMERS .
Our company is well known through the marketplaces we utilise. Our customers know our products are quality as they are all imported. Around 75% of our products are not sold by any other company in the South African marketplace. The majority of
products are UK branded goods, and have become known as quality items at a competitive price level.
. OPPORTUNITY for GROWTH .
There are in total five online marketplaces in South Africa currently. There is huge scope for advancement within this field by selling through all five, and in fact selling to neighbouring African States. There is also scope for wholesale sales of goods although we have not tapped that market ourselves.
. LIFESTYLE ISSUES .
With this being an online business, sales are generated even whilst we sleep. This business operates 365 days of the year as far as sales are concerned. However it is up to the individual as to when their working day starts and ends. Dependent on
staffing, this could be a 3-4 day working week, even though sales are being generated 24/7.
It is possible to close down the shop for holidays if required.
Alternatively, it can still run if staff can package whilst the owner is away. Any admin can also be checked upon online from wherever you are. We have operated this business whilst abroad before now.
Another scenario is where an owner does not want to accommodate the stock or extra employees. You could place the goods in an order fulfillment facility and they can generate all orders on a daily basis and send out which alleviates that portion of the business.
. REASON FOR SALE .

. NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT .
A signed NDA will be required.
Any interested party will need to be prepared to complete and sign an non-disclosure agreement. Confidentiality could impact on staff issues and/or effect supplier and customer relationships. For these reasons the NDA will specify the
limitations on use of information supplied. This protects all parties involved.
. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS .
Audited financial statements are available. Our year end is February, so the current AFS will only be available at a later date.
. SALE CONDITIONS .
We would not offer any finance with regard to the business. If a prospective purchaser wants to take over the property and business, then, we can effect a change of directors. The property is registered to a Pty Ltd company. The entity is
VAT registered, and we also hold an Importer's Code. We also have a SARS Tax Clearance Certificate, but can obtain the latest one via our accountants.
. PROOF of FUNDING REQUIREMENT .
A potential buyer needs to demonstrate that they have access to the required funds to finance the cash transaction portion of this purchase. The seller will not provide any documentation, business details or financials and will not accept any offer unless the proof of funding has been provided.
. HANDOVER ARRANGEMENTS and TRAINING .
Full training will be provided to the purchaser, along with introductions to and details of all suppliers, shipping agents (both in UK & South Africa) and the transport company for movement of containers. Arrangements will be made for couriers on handover, along with online cloud based applications applicable to the listing of the products, and all general information required to manage the business and increase growth going forward.
